Good Cup

Growing A Coffee Business, The Good Way

Good Cup Coffee is a Cebu-based coffee company built around better coffee, farm programs, and consumer education.

In 2021, during the early years of Good Cup’s online commerce journey, we helped set up their Shopify store properly. The goal was simple: help the team sell coffee online with confidence.

That store became Good Cup’s main retail channel. From there, our work continued across Shopify Plus, wholesale, customer support, loyalty, retention, and daily commerce operations.

The goal was never just to improve the website. It was to help Good Cup grow with a setup built for its next stage.

The Challenge

Good Cup’s growth started with a clear need: build the store properly so the team could sell coffee online and manage orders with confidence.

Over time, the needs became more strategic.

Good Cup’s commerce setup had to support:

  • Retail customers buying coffee online

  • Wholesale customers ordering through a dedicated store

  • A growing catalog of coffee, equipment, merchandise, and education

  • Customer questions from different channels

  • Repeat purchases and customer retention

  • Store operations that needed clearer structure

The setup had to do more than accept orders. It had to support how the team sold, fulfilled, communicated, and served customers every day.

What We Worked On

We helped Good Cup strengthen key parts of its commerce setup:

  • Shopify store setup in the early years of their online commerce journey

  • Shopify Plus support for a growing company

  • Retail store improvements

  • Dedicated wholesale store launch

  • Wholesale workflows and account support

  • Product and collection structure

  • Customer support system improvements

  • Loyalty, rewards, and retention support

  • Store operations improvements

  • Support for new products, campaigns, and business needs

The work covered the customer experience and the systems behind it.

The Outcome

Good Cup started with a Shopify store built for early online selling. Over time, it became a stronger operating base for the company.

The team had better support for retail customers, wholesale buyers, customer questions, repeat purchases, and product launches.

Keeping the retail and wholesale stores separate also made each customer journey clearer: one for direct customers, and one for wholesale partners.

Shopify Plus gave the business a stronger platform for growth. The surrounding systems helped the team manage the work behind the scenes.

Why It Mattered

For Good Cup, the online store is the main retail channel of the business.

That means it has to support daily operations: how customers buy, how wholesale partners order, how the team answers questions, and how repeat customers come back.

The work helped Good Cup grow from an early online store into a stronger setup for retail, wholesale, and daily operations.

We continue to support that growth today.
